Cleveland Museum of Art: Curious, Wondrous Things, Education Art Collection

The Education Art Collection spans 5,000 years of human history with about 10,000 authentic works of art from across the globe. Areas of strength include ceramics, armor, textiles, works on paper, and decorative arts from the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Many objects can be handled, offering an engaging, multisensory opportunity to engage with art. We wanted to showcase the object’s versatility and uniqueness while fostering the sense of wonder the collection can inspire.
